Creating a group is a great way to communicate with members belonging to a department, coordinating for an event, or other collaboration groups for work.
How to create a group
① On the Collavate Home Menu, click the green [Create Group] button.
② Enter in a Name for your group, add members by their email address, choose an Icon for your group, and set the group Privacy to be a domain group or a private group.
*Note: A domain group allows everyone in the domain to view posts in the group. Private groups will only show posts to the members belonging to the private group.
③ Click the blue [Create Group] button
Your group will be created and listed under “My Group” on your Collavate Home screen.
Add your Google Calendar
To add your Google Calendar to your group, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a Google Calendar shortcut in your group.
